Some great products there, with great packaging, results and reviews. but just one major issue - these companies all test on animals.
I recently had something of an argument on Twitter with a company, who tried to tell me that Tesco, Boots, The Body Shop etc. don't test on animals. And that's just great.
They also told me how you can't buy products in the EU that have been tested on animals, because this is against the law. Good to know.
But take Benefit, for example. The products that they sell in the UK, have not been tested on animals. However, Benefit also sell in China, where it is a legal requirement for personal care products to be tested on animals. So Benefit tests on animals.
Not cool, right?
On this basis, Benefit is banned from my makeup bag.
Cruelty free can be a bit of a minefield - some companies are certified as cruelty free but their parent company is not. The Body Shop is a prime example of this.
How far are you prepared to go?
And what are cruelty free products like? Does it conjure up images of plain, boring products that are expensive, difficult to come by, and don't work as well as those high street brands?
From speaking to normal, every day women I have discovered that many of them are of this opinion. And they are so wrong!
On my one woman mission to show you how easy, reasonably priced and utterly WONDERFUL it is to be cruelty free, I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands. I'm going to introduce you to them all and show you their incredible products. They are products that work just as well as those well known products, the ones that hurt the bunnies. Only with these guys, no bunnies are harmed.
Worth considering, yeah?
Join me on this journey, explore the wonderful world of cruelty free, and enjoy the benefits it brings!
