So you want to buy someone a card, but Clintons and Hallmark don't cut it? Even Paperchase is a bit overdone these days.
Meet Natasha Jade - London-based artist with a flair for the abstract, the unusual, the beautiful.
I like to find different cards. There is nothing more soul destroying than turning up at someone's house and seeing three of the same card that you've bought them, adorning their mantlepiece. So they shop at Tesco too. They bought the card in a rush too. You're a sheep.
These cards from Natasha Jade Art are exceptional. Thick, high quality cards with lovely envelopes (nothing worse than a cheap, generic envelope) that feature some of the most intriguing and eye-catching art I've ever seen.
These works of art are inspired by travel, London and philosophy - a heady combination that results in bold splashes of colour, edgy lines, and overall? One of a kind pieces that lend themselves to all manner of things - including these wonderful greeting cards.
The cards are blank inside, so you can use them for whatever occasion you like. Personally I like blank cards as I can make a message truly personal. It's all too tempting to only write "To" and "From" in a pre-printed card. A blank one calls for bespoke messaging and more thought, so the recipient knows you've actually put some time and effort into it.
These beautiful cards are part of a wider range that you can find online, as well as a whole host of other delights including paintings, t-shirts, mugs and gift tags.
I'd recommend checking them out - you'll never be a card sheep again!
