NatOrigin

Many brands claim to be cruelty free, organic, natural... but when you really scrutinise them, you'll find that this really isn't the case.

I recently had the good fortune to stumble upon a fantastic brand called NatOrigin, originally developed in France by a pair of French pharmacists, and now working in partnership with a British-based company; Butterflies Healthcare.


Butterflies Healthcare is run by Michelle and her husband, and as a qualified pharmacist herself, Michelle really knows her stuff! Her passion for natural beauty and healthcare in general stems from a deeply personal story; her diagnosis with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) back in 1990.

PCOS is a cruel illness with a whole range of life changing symptoms, and Michelle found that little was known about effective ways to treat the illness itself and its accompanying symptoms. Her own knowledge allowed her to try natural treatments and remedies safely, and she was successful in treating her illness but was left with sensitive skin.

By luck Michelle came across NatOrigin, and the rest, as they say, is history!! There is plenty of science behind these amazing products, but suffice to say they are cruelty free approved by The Vegetarian Society, and approved by Allergy UK as an Allergy Friendly Product range.

In addition to working with NatOrigin, Butterflies Healthcare specialise in dry eye treatments, eye vitamins and cosmetics for sensitive eyes/skin and contact lens wearers. They are a family run business based in rural Oxfordshire and have won awards including Banbury Business Woman of the Year Award for an Established Business and Team of the Year at the Banbury Employee of the Year Awards.
